The Emes KOBALT speakers are a matched, active pair nearfield studio monitors, featuring a 5.5" woofer and a 1" ferrofluid-cooled dome tweeter, power by twin 70-watt amplifiers and housed in a compact, uniquely designed cobalt blue cabinet.

The KOBALT speakers are ported to ensure even HF dispersion over a distance of up to 8', and are secured with an innovative system of silicon-profile isolating rails on the interior enclosure bottom, which act as a buffer, minimizing interior surface rumble and reflections for a tight, consistant low end reproduction.

Affordable and innovatively engineered, the KOBALT speakers are a worthy solution for professional project, commercial or broadcast studio environments.

: • Compact 2-way biamplified nearfield studio monitors in a matched pair with twin 70-watt amplifiers, 2 - 8' recommended monitoring distance

: • 5.5" polypropylene woofer

: • 1" dome Ferro-fluid-cooled tweeter with Neodyminm magnet

: • Bi-Port bass reflex tweeter surround for woofer airflow cooling of tweeter and "velocity field" ring-shaped HF dispersion pattern over distance for precise, even arrival time of stereo image

: • Silicon-profile ISO-Rails secure speakers, negate surface coupling for tight bass response, minimized aberrant rumble and reflection in cabinet interior

: • 16-position input level switch, high-pass and low-pass filter switches adjustment to room acoustics
