The Canon RE-450X is a full-featured digital presentation camera to display flat art, text and even three dimensional objects. Its 12x optical zoom lens allows the user to show intricate detail of almost any object or specimen. The unit is designed to be used in educational or business environments. It integrates its own table-top and over-head lighting.
Superior Optics
Canon has long be at the forefront of optical technology and lens design. The RE-450X has an advanced 12x zoom lens with a fast f/1.8 maximum aperture. The unit has auto exposure to insure that the image looks as natural as possible. It also has an auto focus system that may be manually overridden.
Self Contained Light Sources
This professional quality visualizer has both table-top back lighting and overhead lighting sources. The back lighting element can illuminate scientific slide specimens, photographic transparencies or any translucent object. Flat art, text or a 3-D object can be lit from above with its pair of color correct florescent lights. Both the above and below lights may be used simultaneously if required.
Picture Look Functions
The RE-450X has an intelligent array of automatic and manual picture features so the unit may be used in different ways depending on needs. The visualizer has a built-in switcher so that two different sources can be used in the same program. Manual or automatic white balance can be selected to provide the most natural looking images. A "white paper" setting optimizes exposure for paper documents. An auto zoom feature will move the lens focal length to a predetermined point so it may be recalled with the touch of a button.
System Integration
The visualizer can display a computer screen image with its 15-pin input port. It may also output a computer signal through a similar output connector. It outputs standard Composite and S-Video signals as well.
