The Elinchrom Model X Flash Head is a unique super short flash duration lamphead with a twin flashtube to ensure even light distribution. The Model X is designed to provide clean, efficient light output.
The Model X Bi-Tube lamphead features Two 16' low resistance power cable, modeling light switch and safety fuse.
Elinchrom's "double bayonet" mounting ring assures full compatibility with their extensive line of reflectors, softboxes, and light banks. A power supply for this flash head is required.
- Easy to Control
- Even if the Elinchrom power supply used has symmetrical power distribution only, the photographer is able to achieve a 2 to 1 ratio between the "A" and "S" series of heads. This works because the "A" heads have a duration up to 1/3250 of a second whereas the "S" heads have a duraton up to 1/1600 of a second. The "A" head, being twice as fast, draws twice the energy of the "S" head creating the 2:1 ratio.

- Fan cooled for increased protection under the most demanding applications. Low noise plus high performance.
- Removable Reflector

Efficient built-in reflector with 90° light distribution to maximize softbox performance.
Additional reflectors and accessories may be added to the front of the head using Elichrom's breech-lock bayonet system.
- Modeling Light
- The Model X head featureS a switch to turn the modeling light on or off making it more convenient for the photographer.
- Long Reaching Cable
- Two 16' cable comes attached to the head. Head cable extension cables may be added when the head is used at longer distances from the power pack.
