The Pyro AV API-652 PYRO134A ExpressCard+ USB 2.0 is fully compliant with ExpressCard specification 1.0. Featuring two external FireWire-400 ports (6-pin) this card offers data transfer speeds of 100, 200 and 400MB/sec. EHCI and OHCI compliant standards are also supported, along with simultaneous use of USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. The Hot-swapping feature lets you connect or disconnect your devices without shutting down your computer. Computers that are ExpressCard-enabled and run Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP1 (or later), Server 2003 or Vista are all compatible.

- This card requires Windows 2000 SPA/XP SP1 or later/Server 2003/Vista. An ExpressCard-enabled system with an ExpressCard slot is also required.

An external USB 2.0 high speed port is built into the card and simultaneous use of both USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 is supported. Data transfer speeds of 480MB/sec, 12MB/sec and 1.5MB/sec are also supported.
