The BP-827A Lithium-Ion Battery Pack from Pearstone is designed to replace the Canon BP-827 battery. In addition to replacing the original battery that came with your camcorder, this battery features an LED power indicator to check the remaining charge before you begin filming. Another benefit of this lithium-ion battery would be that it can be charged or discharged at any time without developing memory effects.
The battery will charge connected to the power adapter of all 2008 and 2009 HF series camcorders and the FS camcorders of 2009. It has the added benefit of charging directly from the power adapter while the Canon batteries can be charged in-camera only. This enables one to use the camcorder while the additional battery is being charged.
Note! Please note: When mounting the battery on the camcorder a message may come up on the screen saying "This battery is not compatible, do you want to continue?" answer YES and you are ready to use the camera.
