This is a Norman 800 w/s, 3 light kit, based on the P808M asymmetrical power pack.

For portrait applications where speed is important, the controller allows easy exposure changes via the power supply to accommodate different skin tones. At the press of a button it is possible to boost the main and fill light by one stop, by providing 400 w/s on outlets #1 and #2. This makes it ideal for portrait applications where umbrellas or soft boxes are utilized.

The power supply is equipped with an audible alarm which beeps in the event of a lamphead misfire, making it an ideal choice for high volume school photography. The lamphead modeling lamps automatically track the flash outputs, verifying the recycle of the pack.

Individual Lamphead Control
Allows the photographer to plug up to four flash heads into the power supply and to have individual control over each head without affecting the other heads.
Note: Do not use the power pack on full power with only one flash head active - this will damage the flash tube and head.
Auto Dump Function
Allows access to lower power selections without the need to manually dump a higher power first.
Long Reaching Cable
A 20' cable comes attached to the head. Head cable extension cables may be added when the head is used at longer distances from the power pack.
Removeable Reflector
All Series 5 reflectors, giving the photographer a full array of choices for shaping the light output.
Compact Design
Because it has no fan, the LH500 is the most compact and economical of all Norman studio heads.
Easily Replaceable Flashtube
The plug-and-play FT6-UV quartz flashtube is easily replaceable to enable the photographer to quickly get back to the assignment.
Phono to PC Sync Cord (R4158) is included.
Umbrellas
White umbrellas with black backing soften and broaden the light output.
