The Canon FD 35-70 SSC f/3.5-4.5 is a fast zoom wide-angle lens covering the normal 50mm focal length with the option a a slightly wider or narrower view. This lens was the first to be offered with a three-moving-groups focusing system.
The SSC/FD-series lenses can be used for full-aperture metering when mounted on any of Canon SLR models including and after the original F-1, EF and FTb models.
