The Omega 4500-II LPL Dichroic is a full-featured, professional 4 x 5" enlarger at an outstanding price. The 4500-II has a slightly lower-wattage lamp (200watt vs. a 250watt), and a shorter chassis and column, with a smaller baseboard than the 4550XLG. However all of the other features and construction are identical; that's a lot of bang for your enlarger buck!
Whether you are looking to equip a school darkroom or are considering a move up from medium format, this world-class enlarger is the way to go. Filtration modules and all other accessories are completely interchangeable with 4550XLG.

- All the standard features of 4500-II with Dichroic Filtration Module: 0-200 Yellow, 0-200 Cyan and 0-170 Magenta stepless and continuously variable filtration. Two f-stop light attenuator.
- Permanent, fade-free dichroic filters. Color-coded, illuminated filtration scales in 1cc increments.
- Supplied with 200W/82V (EYA) Quartz-Halogen lamp with internal dichroic reflector. This provides scratch and dust suppression characteristics found in diffusion-type light source.
- Factory-aligned carriage and column for perfect alignment and elevation.
- Convenient elevation system with hand grip for rapid lifting, and a drive knob for finer changes. Separate locking knob.
- Memory-Lock white-light system for easy focusing.
- Automatic neutral density (ND) filter keeps exposure times constant throughout the contrast range.
- Built-in, vibration-free noiseless blower plus heat sink.
- Geared, dual-range, fast-fine focus control.
- Fully laminated, oversize neutral gray baseboard with vibration-dampening doubler plate.
