The Omega 670MXL is a professional medium format dichroic-color enlarger. Whether you depend on an enlarger for earning your livelihood, for exhibit-caliber work or instructional applications, you need an instrument that's versatile and built to last.

The 670MXL is exactly that. Its tough, die cast components assure trouble-free operation and locked-in alignment. The benefits of a diffusion illumination system also include easier printing because the effects of dust and scratches on negatives are suppressed.

All 670 System lamphouses are interchangeable. The 670MXL invites comparison with any other enlarger in its price class. Beautifully designed, painstakingly crafted, rugged and a joy to use, its a good buy and a wise investment.

Quartz-halogen lamp light source for constant color temperature and unvarying brightness.
Dichroic color correction using fade-free, stepless filters: 0-200cc in Yellow and Cyan, 0-170cc in Magenta.
A massive aluminum girder that locks into a die-cast base, through-bolted to a steel reinforcement plate. It is rock steady and vibration-free. Precise focusing through double-rail, lash-free, adjustable friction drive controls. Left-and right-hand focusing knobs are standard.
Extra long design permits 18X magnification from 35mm.
Counterbalanced, die cast carriage on nylon bearings to ensure smooth and effortless travel.
An extra-long bellows facilitates small prints or reductions.
A large baseboard lets you print 16x20s. Extra thick for warp resistance and vibration damping. All surfaces are laminated, edges are vinyl banded.
Memory-lock white-light focusing system retracts filters with the flip of a lever for full white light output.
Easy slide duplication. Just invert the lamphouse, place it on the baseboard, and add our optional Slide Duping Accessory Kit (No.240-400) with camera adapter, weight set, slide carrier stage, and all necessary hardware.
Quick-change lensboard is reversible to accept a full range of lenses: Lensboard rotates for aperture scale positioning. Heavy-duty power supply with on/off switch steps down line voltage.
