The 1TB C6 Easy Imaging Desktop Backup Drive from clickfree gives you an easy way to protect all your digital files (photos, text, etc.) by automatically copying them and organizing them, using its 1TB memory. The C6 can import music files and playlists from iPod, iPad, iPhone and similar devices as well, and all files can be archived by copying to CDs or DVDs.
The EASYFix function has three repair features: Complete Repair, including Windows operating system, software programs, and personal files, from a previous backup; System Repair, which resets your Windows operating system and software programs back in time, without affecting your personal files; and Reimage, which (in case of a computer hard drive failure) reimages everything onto your computer's new hard drive. EASYFix also has an Emergency Data Recovery Backup to recover personal files even after Windows has crashed and will not start.

Comments about clickfree 1TB C6 Easy Imaging Desktop Backup Drive:
This is a fine backup drive for anyone who wants to make the process easy. I am perfectly able to use other backup techniques and software and have done so for years. The beauty of this drive is that it takes care of everything for the user and still lets you look at and manipulate files if you so desire. A plus is that it can be used with several different computers.

Comments about clickfree 1TB C6 Easy Imaging Desktop Backup Drive:
This product is advertised as plug in and it does it's backup automatically. This is not the case. I had to open the exe file to get it to run and then it crashed after backing up 1% of my files. I tried many trouble shooting proceedures like rebooting my computer, reinstalling the clickfree, trying different usb ports including both 2.0 and 3.0 ports that I knew worked etc. to no avail. I tried all the troubleshooting tips from the clickfree web site as well (only very basic tips there). Only then did I call customer support. After waiting almost an hour listening to the same tips from their web site over and over again. Finally, I got to talk to a real person who it turns out didn't seem to know their own product very well. His only idea as to why the click free wasn't working properly was that my usb port wasn't working correctly or that there was something wrong with my computer. He then asked me what system I was running(win 7 64bit) I explained that I had a 6 month old Dell XPS which was working fine and that I had no trouble using the usb ports for other peripherals. He didn't even ask me what type I tried, although I did try some flash drives, my phone, ipod as well as a seagate drive which all worked fine. He kept suggesting that my problem was with my usb and then asked me if my drive was plugged in. Really? Finally he suggested that I call the company I purchased the Clickfree from to see if they could help me. If you have any problems with your clickfree don't bother calling the company as it will only frustrate you more. Out of desperation I called the vendor I purchased the clickfree from who suggested that before sending the clickfree back for replacement or refund I try to backup only a few files to see if that worked. When I looked to see what the clickfree was backing up so I could select a few folders I noticed that my other external drive was selected for backup in addition to my c drive. I deselected that drive and again started the clickfree backup process and as of this writing it hasn't crashed yet. Right now it is showing 19% backed up. Maybe this will solve the problem. Obviously, if it won't back up drives except for the c drive it isn't backing up my whole computer. I will be returning this product (after seeing if it does in fact backup my c drive as I am curious to see if this in fact works)

Clickfree is the easiest way to back up the entire contents of a computer or several computers(including the operating system). Choose how often you would like to do scheduled backups which will scan the computer and add anything new to the Clickfree. Just plug it in and you're done. It's worth every penny.

Comments about clickfree 1TB C6 Easy Imaging Desktop Backup Drive:
I don't know how well this drive can work because it didn't work when I connected it to my computer. I do know that Click Free claims to have customer support either by calling or email. When you call the message says that support is only via email.
I did what they say on their helpful tips and retried several times but it still didn't work. I then emailed them in detail and got a reply
"We are sorry to hear that you've encountered a problem with the Clickfree Automatic Backup. While we are typically able to provide written responses to those who email us, in this particular instance the issue you've brought up is one that requires that we discuss it with you directly in order to collect additional details and provide you with the best solution.
Our representatives are waiting to speak with you. At your earliest convenience, please contact Clickfree Support by calling 1-866-680-0516. Support is available from 05:00 a.m. Monday to 7:59 p.m Friday, Eastern Time."
Just to play out the game I called the number which is the same one as on their site. Of course I got the same message again.
I then replied to their email and cced support with my attempts and my phone number. Two weeks later I still haven't heard from them!
B&H is replacing it for a new one. Lets see...

I mainly purchased this to back up my photos but love that it will also back up your programs...actually everything! I have yet to use it to back up my laptop too, which is where I have my word documents. It's so easy to use. I love how they break individual catagories down for you too. It's so clear to understand. I have not yet gone thru all the other options it offers because I personally didn't find the need to but I will get to that. I'm sure I'll find something else to love about this, so far I have not found anything I do not like. Buy it you won't be sorry:)

Very disappointed and now I have the hassle of trying to return it. It didn't work at all. I called customer support and they walked me through several steps and had me double check it on my laptop also to make sure it wasn't a computer problem. It just didn't work at all. I clicked "star" above by accident--I meant "no star".

Just plug it in and it reads your hard drive. You can view your files if you need them. The first back-up the C6 does a 100% image of your computer after that it only does the changes. It worked so well I bought a 2nd one for my wifes computer.
