The D-Link DCS-3411 Fixed IP Network Camera, with a 1/4" CMOS sensor and a 16x digital zoom lens, delivers high-quality imagery. With the built-in infrared cut removable filter and a minimum illumination of 0.5 lux, the camera offers crisp color images in day time and grayscale images in low-light conditions.
To maximize bandwidth efficiency and improve image quality, the DCS-3411 Network Camera offers real-time video compression in MJPEG, MPEG-4, and H.264 formats. For addressing different requirements, the camera allows up to 4 distinct profiles simultaneously and also allows recording with VGA / QVGA / QQVGA resolution for a smooth performance. The NAS (Network Attached Storage) device and a Micro SD card slot are included for local storage of snapshots / video clips.
An aluminum casing for the DCS-3411 Network Camera provides protection against tampering and offers maximum heat dissipation. With the D-ViewCam software, you can monitor up to 32 cameras on a single computer screen, send e-mail alerts automatically, and record video to your hard drive when motion is detected.
Two-way audio is enabled to communicate with visitors or potential intruders from the operator’s base station with a built-in microphone, and 2 digital I/O ports allows for connection of external devices such as an alarm or a light. With the BNC connector, the DCS-3411 Network Camera enables you to connect to the CCTV network and the RS-485 connector allows you to connect to the external PT devices.
Supporting 3G mobile video, the DCS-3411 Network Camera enables you to view live video data on a 3G mobile phone, or PDA with a 3G video player in real time anywhere within your 3GPP service area. Power over Ethernet (802.3af compliant) supplies power to the camera from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets.
