The Sony Signature VAIO Z2 VPCZ21TGX/X 13.1" Notebook Computer is a compact notebook computer. The system features a 13.1" LCD display with a LED backlight, 16:9 aspect ratio, and Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution. An external sheet battery is included for extended cord-free operation -- up to 14 hours at default brightness.
The system weighs in at only 2.6 pounds by itself, or 3.7 pounds when used with the external battery. Due to its form factor, the computer doesn't include a built-in optical drive. Rather, a desktop docking station with a built-in Blu-ray ROM with CD and DVD burning support is included with the system.
It is rife with wireless options -- dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR are standard issue. Using the computer is comfortable too, as it features a multi-gesture touchpad. The VAIO Z2 also sports a webcam, integrated microphone, and memory card reader.
For those times when you'd like to watch content on a larger screen, the VAIO supports Intel's Wireless Display technology, which allows you to connect to an HDTV wirelessly. You'll need the optional Netgear Push2TV accessory to utilize this technology. An HDMI output is available for wired HDTV connectivity.
The computer is powered by a dual-core 2.7GHz Intel Core i7-2620M CPU, which can be overclocked to 3.4GHz thanks to Intel Turbo Boost. It is loaded with 6GB of RAM, 256GB of solid state storage, and integrated Intel GMA HD 3000 graphics. Windows 7 Professional with Service Pack 1 (64-bit) is the installed operating system.

Comments about Sony Signature VAIO Z2 VPCZ21TGX/X 13.1" Notebook Computer (Premium Carbon Black):
I travel a lot and this laptop is super light and with additional sheet battery it makes it so much easier to keep working longer without losing battery! This computer is great quality and nice add on docking station when at home. Portability wise this is the best laptop out there and the lightest and above all the only laptop that has full power i7 processor not the Ultra low voltage addition which is great what sony has put inside it.

Comments about Sony Signature VAIO Z2 VPCZ21TGX/X 13.1" Notebook Computer (Premium Carbon Black):
Screen resolution of 1920x1080 on such a small screen is weird, but you can ZOOM your browser to 150% so web will be fine. But other apps will have such a small font. Anyway, the computer is super great, lightweight and powerfull.

Comments about Sony Signature VAIO Z2 VPCZ21TGX/X 13.1" Notebook Computer (Premium Carbon Black):
We can all read the specs, so obviously if you are looking at this laptop you are someone who wants an awesome workstation, in small trim, with a 1920x1080 small screen. I whole heatedly recommend it if you can afford it. This makes business trips that much more light and efficient. The size is perfect for the small business hotels I often stay at in Japan. The keyboard is not as bad as everyone says. speakers are a totaly joke, but that's about the only bad thing. I use a set of Foxlv2.2 speakers and connect via bluetooth. AWESOME setup.

Comments about Sony Signature VAIO Z2 VPCZ21TGX/X 13.1" Notebook Computer (Premium Carbon Black):
The laptop is all around use for traveling, desktop replacement. It is everything that you need. Long battery due to new technology on the battery, the Premium Carbon really looks nice.
The only drawback is the price which is doesn't have to be that expensive really and the spaces between keys on the keyboard are not to comfortable cause it has more distant then the normal sony vaio laptop.
