The Sony Signature VAIO CB2 VPCCB2SFX/R 15.5" Notebook Computer is a widescreen notebook computer, built with performance in mind. The computer is powered by a dual-core 2.3GHz Intel Core i5-2410M CPU, which can be overclocked to 2.9GHz via the Intel Turbo Boost system. It ships with an enhanced software bundle that includes Adobe Acrobat 9.0 and Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10.0.
The computer supports Intel's Wireless Display technology, which allows you to connect to an HDTV wirelessly. You'll need the optional Netgear Push2TV accessory to utilize this technology. For wired connectivity to an HDTV, the notebook features an HDMI output.
The computer's 15.5" display features a 1920 x 1080 resolution -- equal to that of 1080p video! This makes it ideally suited for our high-definition world. Its Blu-ray drive supports HD disc playback, and can also read and write CDs and DVDs.
The computer is loaded with 4GB of RAM, a 640GB 5400rpm hard drive, Intel GMA HD 3000 graphics, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, an integrated webcam and microphone, USB 3.0, and a memory card reader. Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1 (64-bit) is the installed operating system.
