Installed in my T410 Lenovo ThinkPad. It runs very quiet. It's only been in a week, but performance seems excellent. Access time is really quick. I use the laptop mainly to run audio recording software.

Arrived quickly. Great quiet little drive for my 15 inch intel macbook pro late 2007!
A little tricky to install, but not bad.

•It's working great so far.
•Fast drive as expected.
•And although overall very quiet, it does make a very quiet clicking now and then.

Upgrade for Lenovo laptop. Would be great to upgrade to SSD, but I haven't seen any 500GB+ SSD drives at a reasonable price. This drive is great from price / performance / capacity perspective.

Comments about Hitachi 750GB Travelstar 2.5" Internal Hard Drive:
I had filled my 500gb 7200rpm laptop drive (a Seagate) on my MacBook Pro, and was happy to see some new 750gb 7200rpm 2.5" drives were now on the market. I bought a Seagate Momentus from [@], and it failed after 4 days - So I decided to go with the Hitachi Travelstar and found the best price on B&H - delivered fast. No problems with the drive - There's a constant, but very faint and not unpleasant white-noise from the HD - the Seagate was quieter - but then the Seagate crashed so I'll take the white noise.

I use these Hitachi 7k750's in each of my MacBookPro's and they have been outstanding. Neither has failed. I have compared them to the Scorpio Black and the Samsung Spinrite series with the same rotational speeds and it is my impression that the Hitachis are faster and quieter. Highly recommended.

Just got this drive and installed it in the DVD modular bay of my new Dell Latitude E6420, using a caddie.
Works fine without any problem.
Great and speedy delivery from B&H as well.

Installed this my early 2008 17" Macbook Pro to replace a failing Seagate drive. Fast, quiet and stays relatively cool. Looking forward to this drive keeping things going for the foreseeable future.
I haven't run into any negatives with this drive yet, so there's nothing to report in the "cons" section.

Comments about Hitachi 750GB Travelstar 2.5" Internal Hard Drive:
This HD is really fantastic. It is very quiet most of the time. It makes little disc rotating noise only for few minutes, sometimes. I have installed this HD in my late 2008 Macbook Pro. It was very easy to restore OS X Lion from the time machine.
Unusually I had problem with the UPS. They missed my package in their facility on the date of delivery. Then I had chat with BH customer service staff, regarding the UPS problem. That staff was very kind and immediately updated the shipment on the UPS website. I was really impressed with the good customer service of BH.
I highly recommend both Hitachi's HD and BH :)
