The Promise Technology FastTrak TX4660 4-Port SAS/SATA 3G PCIe x4 Controller (One Card) offers an economical solution and SPAN storage system with up to eight high-performance SAS or SATA disk drives. In addition to the supported RAID features, the FastTrak TX4660 also supports SAS (Non-RAID) mode for general storage application without RAID.

- The FastTrak TX4660 offers single hardware and software for both RAID and non-RAID storage applications, one system integration and qualification effort plus rich operating system support for various storage applications in the field.

- The FastTrak TX4660 model delivers fast, efficient and reliable RAID level 0 for maximum capacity and performance without any fault tolerance, level 1 for maximum data protection, level 5 for balance of capacity plus data protection, level 10 for drive redundancy plus capacity and performance, JBOD for single and non-array drive and SPAN for concatenated stripe using Promise Technology's enterprise proven technology. The flexible FastTrak TX4660 allows you to choose the best that fits your application. For maximum uptime, the FastTrak TX4660 supports features like transparent data recovery and drive rebuilds performed in the background.

- Advanced Features
- The FastTrak TX4660 incorporates many of Promise Technology's advanced features. The onboard BIOS automatically identifies and configures drive type. The Web-based Promise Array Management software provides users easy installation, configuration and operation. Promise's Metadata on Disk simplifies disaster recovery efforts by enabling migration to replacement hardware.

- Web-based Promise Array Management software offers professional management tools in a simple-to-use, straightforward format. Array configurations, management and monitoring features are available via the web based interface. Moreover, the TX4660 supports industry standard SNMP to simplify third party management application integration.
