The Promise Technology Mini-SAS to SATA(x4) with Sideband Signals (0.5 m)) is an internal mini cable that can be used to connect a SATA/SAS controller to a SATA/SAS backplane or drive. It is also suitable for attaching an SCSI (SAS) x4 (SFF-8087) to a (4) x1 Serial ATA (controller based) fan-out cable with SFF-8448 sideband signals.
