The Promise Technology Mini SAS to SATA Cable with Right Angle Sideband (3.2’ / 1 m) is used to connect SATA/SAS controller (SFF-8087) to a SATA backplane or SATA disks. Using a right-angle Mini SAS connector, the fan-out cable attaches up to 4 SCSI (SAS) controllers. The cable supports SFF-8448 sideband signals.
