The Kodak C1550 EASYSHARE Digital Camera is a potent point-and-shoot with 16Mp of res for beautifully detailed, brilliant photos. Helping to capture those impressive images is the 5x zoom, along with a 3.0" bright LCD, and the 27-135mm lens. In addition to taking JPEG photos, the C1550 also records video - making it the only camera you'll need when you're out and about.
Kodak's Smart Capture Technology automatically adjusts the camera for stunning images, taking the guesswork out of the equation. And once you're done shooting, the Share Button makes it a piece of cake to share your photos or videos in a variety of ways. We bought this camera for our 8 year old, who loves it, both for still shots and movies. He has found it easy to learn (under the coaching of his sister, who has a similar Kodak). The only disappointment was that there is no audible video sound when you play back the movies on the camera itself. The sound can be heard when you upload your pictures to the computer, though. The children love to play movies backwards on the camera! Overall, very happy with this camera.

It uses AA batteries with I like because I travel and those you can buy everywhere. Has great selection of scenes for special use from small flower to panoramic picture of mountains, as well as simplicity for those who like just point and shoot. I wanted something to take with me in all situations and for me this is it. Thank you for the opportunity.
