The JVC 16-Channel Network Video Recorder (1.5 TB) is a high-performance all-in-one system with easy-to-operate surveillance features. With an upgradable HDD up to 5 TB, the NVR can store large amount of data and also supports RAID function for secured data backup. With live viewing, recording, and playback capabilities, the unit is suitable for large-scale surveillance system. The NVR records real-time clear videos in motion JPEG and MPEG-4 formats at a frame-rate up to 160 fps.
Use of the NVR as a master on the network allows configuration of multiple NVRs as a single master/slave system without using PC and additional software/camera license. The pre-installed Milestone XProtect Enterprise software offers advanced search features such as sequence search, smart search, time navigation, and timeline browser. With accurate PTZ control capability, the NVR ensures secure and reliable monitoring for preset positions.
Included NAS archive capability allows you to efficiently use the disk space as well as makes integration with other devices easy. VCR-like front panel design provides easy operation to various functions. Along with the VN-E4 Network Encoder, analog cameras can be integrated into the system. The NVR is an open platform system, which supports external systems such as access control systems, POS, and ATMs.
System Status Monitoring by SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) allows you to check the camera connection status, CPU occupation, recording status, NVR viewers, and more. User-friendly set-up menu enables easy settings including the automatic camera detection and IP address assignment. The recorded data can be transferred in AVI or JPEG format with advanced encryption using the original formats. For added security, the NVR has password protection feature to prevent tampering.
