This Nocturnal Lights Wide Universal Underwater Tray with Dual 12" Flex Arms includes a wide 12" aluminum tray and 2 12" (30.48 cm) Flex Arms. This setup works with many compact underwater video and still camera housings, and is recommended for housings less than 9.0" (22.9 cm) wide. Each arm has a YS light mount, sometimes called a U mount. This setup works with many different brands of video lights and strobes, including Sea & Sea and Fantasea, as well as Nocturnal Lights. Use the Nocturnal Lights flex arm adapter to connect lights directly to the Flex Arms. The bottom of each arm has a T-Base that fits over the tray's T-Base adapter.
Dual lighting allows creative flexibility in your underwater imaging. The ocean acts as one large blue filter and, as you descend further down beneath the surface, reds, oranges and more natural colors become muted shades of blue and gray. Using a continuous light source such as Nocturnal Lights allows you to bring back the natural color of your subject in both your underwater video and still images.
