Comments about Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver:
I use this receiver plugged into my Bose computer speaker system. Aside from not having to unplug cords when I take my laptop with me, I can now controlled the speakers with my phone, which has turned the system into a functional stereo in the bedroom.
I like that multiple devices can connect to it. My wife can use her phone to control music when I'm not using my laptop. For that matter, she can control them even if I'm using the laptop, if I let her.
It comes with two input cords, one Male-to-Male 1/8" Stereo and one 1/8" Stereo-to-RCA. It will plug into just about any receiver or system.
The only negative aspect to this receiver, if I can even call it that, is that it runs on AC power. A few months back, I was considering getting one for use in my Jeep. While it would have plugged in, it wouldn't have gotten any power. I suppose that it is possible to get a DC adapter for it, or to even plug it into an AC port if your car has one. AT that point, it's a very cost effective option for adding a bluetooth music input for a car stereo.
I plan on getting at least one more of these for my big receiver in the living room. It's a worthwhile buy.

Comments about Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver:
This little gadget is barely noticeable and allows me to stream all audio through my receiver. Overall, the sound quality is quite good, though certainly any streaming audio over bluetooth is compressed and will lose a little. I do have to turn up the volume level on the stereo considerably to achieve reasonable sound levels through the device. Otherwise, absolutely does an adequate job, particularly for almost no investment. Took under 5 minutes from opening box to streaming music through my receiver...very easy set-up.

We use this with our stereo and can connect with it using any of our I devices!
The range is not very far but we knew that before with Bluetooth. One good surprise was the ability to control thr volume from the I device.

Comments about Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver:
I have one of these devices attached to each of my stereo/AV receivers. This allows me to beam music from my iPhone or Bluetooth equipped PC to my audio system without a jumble of wires.
(Note: This device is for stereo/AV receivers and other audio devices with AUX inputs that do not come equipped with Bluetooth and are not "ready" for an optional Bluetooth adapter.)
It's easy to set up and pair. It's about 2" wide by 1" tall. Unlike the manufacturer's illustration, there are actually two wires connected to the unit; one for power, one for signal to your receiver's "AUX" input(RCA and 1/8" connectors are included in the package). The device must be connected to power to work (adapter included). You can plug it into the back of your receiver, if it's equipped with a power outlet, otherwise, you plug it into the wall.
Bluetooth does "compress" the audio signal, so critical users may note some "loss". You can adjust for desired signal quality.
All-in-all, a solid, useful device.
