Nero Multimedia Suite 10 Platinum HD from Nero is a collection of six software products bundled into one powerful suite that will help expand your multimedia production, whether you need to play or burn Blu-ray discs, share media among multiple mobile devices, reliably back up your data to disc, or execute powerful video editing with professional-level effects.
The bundle includes everything that's in the non-Platinum version of Nero Multimedia Suite 10 – that's the trio of Nero Vision Xtra for video and image editing; Nero Burning ROM for disc burning; and Nero BackItUp & Burn for automatic backup of data to disc. Multimedia Suite 10 Platinum HD also offers three additional powerful software components.
Nero Kwik Blu-ray lets you view Blu-ray movies with stunning picture quality and DTS sound. You can also play back audio CDs and standard-def DVD-Video with high playback quality using Nero Kwik Blu-ray, a single, universal player.

Nero Transition EffectPack 1 comprises 50 video transitions, and Nero Kwik Themes is a set of 25 themes and 25 menu templates that offers choices such as seasonal, romantic, kids, home cinema, sports, and more.

I've been using Nero for more than 10 years, but I recently upgraded my operating system from Windows XP Pro X64 to Windows 7 64 Bit to enable installation and operation of Turbo Tax 2011. Unfortunately, Windows 7 wouldn't allow my older version of Nero to run. For years, I've been very happy with Nero, so it was an easy choice to upgrade it to Nero 10. I've not had the time to try all of the new features, but I'm certain I'll be happy with them too. If you're looking for great C/D copy software that does a whole lot more than just copy, then Nero is the ticket. You'll never get a bad copy with Nero, and by the way, it's a lot faster than the old Nero.
