The Midland Nautico 3 VHF Marine Radio is a compact, water resistant radio with a backlit LCD display for boating and fishing. It has a JIS4 Waterproof rating and it features 88 marine channels, which includes all US and international channels. Plus, it's an NOAA Weather Alert Radio that provides automatic alerts for severe weather and hazard information 24/7. You can access emergency info instantly by using the Emergency Channel 16 Button and automatically check channels for activity by using the Auto Scan. You can also check for any activity within your channel by using the Monitor function.
The water resistant radio also features Auto Squelch, HI/LO Power Settings, Roger Beep, Keystone Strokes and a Battery Life Extender. There is a headphone jack and microphone jack, but the eVOX with three sensitivity levels and easy voice activation, eliminates the need for an external microphone. The radio has dual power options; you can choose between four standard AA batteries (not included) or the included rechargeable batteries. The radio also includes a DC adapter for charging on the boat, as well as an AC adapter, belt clip, desktop holder with mounting hardware and boom mic headset.
