The HPD2000 Rackmount 4-Channel Power Amplifier (270W/Channel @ 8 Ohms) from Proel provides professional-quality audio in a compact 2RU rackmount chassis. The amplifier has digital amplification modules that use Pulse Width Modulation technology to provide excellent power and efficiency. The amplifier can operate in stereo, bridged, or parallel modes for terrific versatility.
The rear panel offers Neutrik input and output connectors, with XLR/TRS combo inputs and parallel XLR outputs. There are also Speakon outputs for each channel, plus 2 Speakon bridge outputs. These connectors allow you to connect to a wide variety of sound systems and devices. The amplifier has internal protection circuitry that includes thermal protection, short circuit protection, high frequency protection, and a clip limiter circuit for terrific reliability. Indicator LEDs provide you with visual status updates.
There are multiple filtering options, including flat response, selectable 100Hz high pass filters, and a bi-amplified crossover mode. There are also ground-lift switches to eliminate hum caused by ground loops. The amplifier has variable-speed cooling fans with front-to-rear airflow and removable dust filters to keep internal components running smoothly and reliably.
