Comments about FotoSpot Geo-Tagger FSC-102 For Nikon DSLRs:
I give this four stars because of the price.
The Good: This GPS unit is accurate for longitude and latitude. The battery life is excellent.
The use of a memory card for tracking is fun. Heading seems to be okay. Build and connectivity is fine.
The Bad: The altitude measurements are very poor (not unusual). The instructions are so terse as to be useless. The OK button which is needed to access the menus is a bit hit and miss but can get you to the right point eventually. The time taken before getting satellite lock-on seems longer than alternative units.
I bought this because I lost my Solmeta unit and needed a replacement in a hurry. I don't regret the purchase but if you need a cheap basic Nikon GPS unit look for a Solmeta N1. This is fine but I find the price hard to justify.
