Compuvideo 3G HD/SD-SDI Multi-format Generator
The Compuvideo 3G HD/SD-SDI Multi-format Generator features 2 low jitter HD/SD-SDI outputs that can be used for broadcast-quality test-pattern generation or master sync black reference generation to genlock (generator lock) HD-SDI and SD-SDI signals. It features 29-direct function front panel control with last settings memory, low battery indication, and front panel lock function. In addition, the front panel program function can be used for future standards/formats upgrades.
Using the EDH (Error Detection and Handling) system for SD or the CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) system for HD, the 3G HD/SD-SDI Multi-format Generator performs complete pass/fail test of the HD/SD-SDI. In addition, it supports formats such as SMPTE 260M, 274M, 292M, 295M, 296M and SDTV SMPTE 125M, SMPTE 259M-C, 267M, 344M, ITU-R BT 601, 270 Mbps, 360 Mbps, 540 Mbps, 1.4835Gbps and 1.485 Gbps, NTSC and PAL, 4:3, and 16:9 formats.
Powered by AC/DC power and/or internal AA-batteries, the 3G HD/SD-SDI Multi-format Generator offers operation up to 100 hours. In addition, the generator can be used in handheld and/or desktop configuration.
