The AT-MDP14 Mini DisplayPort Splitter from Atlona Technologies is a 1-input-to-4-output splitter designed to allow a computer with a Mini DisplayPort connection (such as MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, Air, Mac Mini, etc.) the ability to be displayed on four Mini DisplayPort monitors simultaneously. The splitter will also work with DisplayPort monitors. However, an additional Mini-DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort adapter will be required. Most commonly used monitors are Apple 27" LED monitors and Apple 27" iMac.
This unit supports resolutions of up to 2560 x 1600. It also supports surround sound audio of PCM 7.1 & AC3. Audio can also be bypassed through the unit's USB connection, which can power the splitter at the same time. With four sets of EDID formats, the AT-MDP14 provides fast switching between displays. This saves the EDID's reading sync time to allow the image to be displayed properly and quickly.

- The AT-MDP14 can support resolutions up to 2560 x 1600
- Surround Sound
- The support for PCM 7.1 & AC3 allows for multi-channel surround sound. Please note that Apple monitors don't allow audio to pass through the Mini DisplayPort. The USB cable must be used to redirect audio from its host
- EDID Formats
- The AT-MDP14 supports 4 different EDID formats as well as fast EDID switching
- USB Powered
- There's no need for an AC adapter because the AT-MDP14 is powered through the USB connection
