Comments about D-Link MainStage TV Adapter for Intel Wireless Display:
This device operated as it should right out of the box! This is noteworthy because according to my further research after I had already ordered it, it should not have worked.
I have a Dell Inspiron N15. After first receiving the laptop, I noticed in the programs was Intel WiDi program. I ignored it at first sine I was not sure what it was. A few months later, I went back and went through the pram materials again. I though this is a great function. As I researched further, it sounded like the adapter should work with my laptop. To make a long review short, I went ahead and ordered it from B&H. After ordering I was reviewing more data in anticipation of the adapter's arrival, and according to the dated info on Intel's web page, my i5 2430M processor was not listed as compatible. In addition, my laptop did not have the "magical" Intel WiDi sticker attached to it. But, I thought, why is the software pre-loaded?
Well, the adapter arrived and worked perfectly on my seeming "incompatible" laptop!

Comments about D-Link MainStage TV Adapter for Intel Wireless Display:
Just hook the dlink to your HDTV with HDMI cable and fire up your laptop. Instant huge monitor. Your laptop must have the proper Intel chip, and the laptop manufacturer must enable the service. Lenovo tells you which laptops work. Enter a four digit code and that is it! Sweet!
