1> The Atlona HD620 will pass audio from the HDMI to iMac 27" or 27" LED display via Mini DisplayPort Connection; however Apple 24" LED can't take audio from Mini DisplayPort (only through USB), therefore user would have to either use a separate audio output from the HDMI device to connect to AV Receiver or can also use an analog stereo output from HD620 to connect to a set of powered speakers.

The Atlona HDMI / Mini DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort Scaler and Switcher is a dual input scaler, which scales HDMI input with stereo audio for display on a monitor with a Mini DisplayPort connector. With the ability to scale HDMI signals up to 2560 x 1440, the scaler supports native resolution of an Apple iMac 27” and Apple 24”. Featuring HDMI and a mini display port input, the scaler also doubles as a switch, allowing 2 sources to be connected simultaneously with a single display. It also converts 50 Hz signals to 60 Hz signals.
Supporting 3-D motion video adaptive, 3-D de-interlacing, hue, saturation, sharpness, RGB (color tone) level, and aspect ratio size, the HDMI / Mini DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort Scaler and Switcher allows you to adjust the picture quality for crystal clear display via manual buttons or an IR remote.

The audio is not there at all.
