AKG SH-100 Shockmount
The AKG SH-100 Shockmount is the suspension mount included with the Perception 200, 220 and 400 microphones. The SH-100 will also fit the AKG Perception 120, and other like-sized microphones.

I use this product with my AKG Perception 220 microphone. It is the proper gear that originally came with the mic. Unfortunately, a mic stand got knocked over with this mic on it (and it's a heavy mic) and shattered my original one. Hence, I had to order a new one. At least the shock mount mic clip took the brunt of the blow and the mic came out unhurt. Even though it's a little bulky in size, I like using the proper gear together.

This actually came with one of my AKG microphone but the swivel base broke off when some idiot bumped into it. Considering that just that part costs [$] plus shipping when ordered directly from the manufacturer I just figured it would be better to just replace the entire unit. It works well and, best of all, it fits my extra large diaphragm microphone. If I were to buy a top end shock mount I would never buy one online for fear of it not being the right size. So, if you have a perception large diaphragm microphone then purchase this, if a higher end shock mount say that maybe featured a METAL SWIVEL BASE fits your fancy then I would recommend taking your microphone to the nearest music dealer and see if it fits.
