The T-Pain Effect from iZotope is a collection of three fun and easy music making tools that for beginners will, in a matter of minutes, have them arranging beats, recording vocals, and posting tracks online. For the more experienced practitioner the T-Pain Engine is the perfect musical sketchpad for capturing those creative moments.

The T-Pain Effect plug-in is compatible with popular music hosts like GarageBand, Logic, Pro Tools and many more, and allows you to tune up your vocals to the T-Pain extreme, or tone it down a notch for subtle pitch correction.

The iDrum: T-Pain Edition allows you to create beats anywhere. This virtual drum machine is as simple to use as the hardware drum machines of the past, but with all the flexibility of a software virtual instrument. It can be used as a standalone application or as a plug-in synced to your favorite host.

T-Pain Engine

  • Self-contained beat-making and vocal recording application
  • Make Beats - choose from dozens of killer beats or customize your own
  • Record Vocals - sing or rap, then add the official T-Pain Effect
  • Share - post songs for all to hear, straight to the web via SoundCloud

Make Beats
  • Preview and select from over 50 T-Pain-approved professionally crafted beats, featuring everything from pulsing bass-driven kits, to slow jams, to otherworldly dance anthems
  • Each beat provides a full set of patterns that correspond to song parts like intro, verse, and chorus
  • Use the pattern chooser to swap in pattern variations, add or delete patterns to change your song's length, or arrange a whole new song from scratch
  • Personalize your beat by editing patterns directly within iDrum: T-Pain Edition, or create your own patterns and kits

Record Vocals
  • Put on your headphones, plug in a microphone, and let Sound Check walk you through the steps of getting your computer ready to record
  • Sing, rap or freestyle over your beat on two different vocal tracks, then edit or do retakes until you're perfectly satisfied with every word
  • For more vocal flavor, bring T-Pain's distinctive sound to your vocal tracks, tweaking the hardness and softness control to dial in just the right sound
  • Balance the volume levels of your vocals and beat with the mixer controls, and then build intensity by adding Beat Drops that briefly silence the beat for dramatic effect

  • Share
  • Export audio files to put on a CD or publish your song straight to the web via SoundCloud, keeping Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks in the loop
  • Tune in to all tracks made with the T-Pain Engine
  • T-Pain Effect

    • Plug-in compatible with popular music hosts like GarageBand, Logic, Pro Tools, SONAR, and many more
    • Use it for subtle pitch correction or wild vocal transformations, including the distinctive sound of T-Pain
    • Hear the effect while you're recording (in most hosts)
    • Adjust the effect's strength with the Hardness/Softness control
    • Customize the effect with scale presets, or create custom scales

    iDrum: T-Pain Edition

    • Similar to hardware drum machines that use "step sequencing" to build patterns and songs
    • With step sequencing, you enter notes on each track at different "steps" which each represent a rhythmic note in time, then loop that track repeatedly
    • Each track holds a different rhythmic sound, and many tracks together create a whole drum kit, allowing for unlimited possibilities
    • Use as a standalone application or as a plug-in that syncs to other popular music hosts

    Create New Patterns
    • Quickly build beat patterns with the lightning-fast step sequencer, using either a mouse, MIDI controller, or your QWERTY keyboard

    Design New Kits
  • Import your own WAV or AIFF files to design custom kits of your favorite sounds
  • Transform each sample's sound with pitch, filter, and decay effects, then adjust volume levels and panning for the perfect kit mix

  • Expand Your Library
  • Fully compatible with other iDrum content from iZotope

  • Take Beats Anywhere
    • Kits created with iDrum: T-Pain Edition can be transferred via WiFi to iZotope's iDrum versions for the iPhone and iPod touch
