Made of resin pressed between 2 sheets of Schott Superwite glass, each filter is exposed to a rigorous quality-control process. This kit consists of 2 Clear Movie Mist filters, one of density 1 and the other of density 2; 2 Black Movie Mist filters, one of density 1 and the other of density 2; and a Warm Black Movie Mist filter of density 1.
Clear Movie Mist filters amplify highlights but slightly reduce contrast. The Clear Movie Mist filter is perfect for smoothing and softening facial imperfections.
Black Movie Mist filters reduce highlights without affecting contrast. The Black Movie Mist filter softens fine details and provides a more subtle effect than the Clear Mist, with less lightening in shadowy areas.
The Warm Black Movie Mist filter is a combination of the Black Mist filter and a built-in warming filter.
Designed mainly for the motion picture industry, Movie Mist filters offer 5 levels of softening. Unlike traditional soft focus filters, there is minimal loss of detail. The Movie Mist filters are a great softening tool for mood creation outdoors or indoors, in broad scenes or portraits.
