I also appreciated the extension cord that comes with it as my computer sits on the floor. I have several other sizes of cards and expect to use the reader often.

Bought this for the CF reader. The pins of the CF reader are amost flush with the plane of the opening. So, there is no area inside the reader to guide the card into the pins, and the pins became demaged within a week, even with careful use. Even if you were able to get the card in consistently without bending the pins, most of it would be sticking out, making it susceptible to bending/breaking.

Comments about Kodak A250 50-in-1 Card Reader:
The compact flash card in my camera is too slow to down load the pictures through the camera. Using the Card reader adaptor cuts the time by 75%. This card reader will work with any card that is available today.

We use the card readers in our digital lab. They are easy to use, fit multiple cards, and B&H had the best price on the market by far.

IS this the highest quality? No. But it does the job - great as a backup. I got it for a CF reader, as most of my stuff is SD.

This card reader fits nicely into my camera bag and works seamlessly with either Mac or Windows. It comes with an instruction book, but I did not need it. This is as "plug 'n play" as it gets.

Comments about Kodak A250 50-in-1 Card Reader:
I had to return my first one because it did not work at all, but my second reader seems to be better- If I had to buy again, I might look for something that felt a bit sturdier- I use this for my compact flash card- as a backup. The card does not go into the reader so easily, it has to be maneuvered in just right.

Use the product to convert media card pix to PC storage. Compact, easy to use. Update suggestion would be to somehow label device to better insure correct orientation of cards before inserting into device to reduce potential pin damage.
