The MXL Genesis II Tube Microphone pairs a Mullard 12AT7 tube output stage with a cardioid, condenser capsule to ensure high quality warmth and detail. The Genesis II delivers the warmth, punch and detail suitable for crucial recording of vocals, instruments, ambiance and more. The microphone features a -10dB attenuation switch for added headroom while capturing transients without distortion. A high-pass filter switch minimizes low frequency noise. The microphone includes a shockmount, power supply, cables and a metal mesh pop filter.
