Holdown attaches to baseboards manufactured after July 2008. Earlier baseboards require two clamps.
The Bencher Copymate 3 Book/Copy Holdown is a great solution for keeping books and similar objects flat during copying. Made for the Copymate 3 copystand (alternate model for the CM2), the Holdown's glass platen attaches to the copystand's baseboard and accommodates books up to 3.5" thick. Foam rubber blocks are included to insert under the thinner side of the book to ensure both sides are in the same, flat focal plane.
