K 5600 Lighting Crossover Kit for Joker-Bug 200W

The K5600 Crossover Kit for the Joker-Bug 200W not only improves the light articulating potential of the Bug but opens up a whole new world of light shaping tools to you. First of all, besides the Joker-Bug head, the kit includes the Beamer, a highly polished PAR reflector capable of holding accessories such as lenses, scrims and barndoors. The included frosted Beaker removes some of the specular quality of the light making it ideal for use inside a softbox, very much like the dome on Profoto flash heads.

And speaking of Profoto, the included Crossover Adapter allows you to use virtually all of their light-shaping tools from reflectors to softboxes. If your demand for quality led you to purchase K5600 products, then you may already own Profoto gear for the same reason. But even if you don't, Profoto is one of the most universally rented systems world-wide. The kit also includes a 200W HMI lamp for the head and an AC/DC Ballast to power it.

About the Joker-Bug 200W

The K5600 Joker-Bug 200 HMI PAR has an output comparable to 750-1000W quartz fixture, but with a power draw of only 3 amps. This unit has become a standard for small interiors, interviews, documentaries and car shots. The system operates in 90 - 265V environments as well as on 30V belts and packs with the Slimverter.
