International orders*The 3 Legged Thing X1.1 Brian 5-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod is a stylish and phenomenally compact travel tripod that features a removable, reversible 3-section center column. This column helps the 5-section tripod extend to a maximum height of 76.4" and retract to a very small 16.5" folded length.
The versatile X1.1 Brian's legs are composed of 8-core carbon fiber for the ultimate in lightweight camera support – the tripod weighs just 2.9 lb. One of those legs unscrews to become a monopod. The center column is both removable and reversible to accommodate shooting from the lowest of low angles.
Leg angles can be set at three different positions; at their widest and with the column removed, the top of the tripod chassis sits only 4.9" from the ground. The leg angles can be set independently to support stable shooting on uneven surfaces.

Comments about 3 Legged Thing X1.1 Brian 5-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod:
I use this tripod for travel shoots. Lightwieght and compact it is an extremely sturdy product. The design is well thought out with a photographer in mind. the feature that one of the legs can be detatched into a monopod saves having to have a separate one along. The center column can be reversed for macro shots. The fast that it can be brought down to about 7 inches by changing the angle of the legs also a big plus.

Comments about 3 Legged Thing X1.1 Brian 5-Section Carbon Fiber Tripod:
As advertised, solid carbon fiber. Easy to adjust the legs. I use it without the center column, which is a great feature (its completely removable) making it a little lighter for backpacking and sturdy in the field. Using it with a kirk ballhead with D700 w. 24-70 lens and its sturdy as i could want. no complaints so far as its only been a few weeks. with a smaller ballhead the legs can fold backwards making it even smaller for traveling. (kirk is too big)
