We're updating our remote gear to use Skype to Skype Voice via Ipad and didn't want to spend a ton of money on a phone mixer so this adapter was the perfect solution.

Comments about Sescom iPhone/iPod/iPad TRRS to XLR Mic & 3.5mm Monitoring Jack Cable:

This is a must have to get PRO Video quality out of an iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, or other mobile camera. I use this cord in conjunction with a self-powered Sennhiser shotgun mic and a mini steadycam. Add an camera such as the 1080p iPhone 4s and you have the ultimate run-and-gun rig with built-in editing.

The audio tap is useful in calibrating and reviewing footage and determining mic placement needs. Unfortunately you cannot monitor the audio as it is being recorded. I believe this is a limitation of the iPhone though, not a fault of the cable.

The cable is well made and features top grade connectors.

          I'd definitely recommend this product.
