The W-890R-B Dual Auto-Reverse Cassette Deck from Teac is a straightforward, great sounding dual well cassette deck. It boasts a wide frequency range, Dolby Noise Reduction and Dolby HX Pro Headroom Extension. The bi-directional dual deck design makes it ideal for dubbing and continuous-looping applications.
Each deck can record, so you can make two masters of the same source at the same time. The decks can also be used for recording or playback applications. The W-890R-B has an RTZ function and a repeat playback feature, and you can adjust the pitch and tempo during playback. The front panel has a microphone input, allowing for spontaneous recording either solo or mixed with a line level source. Additionally, this cassette deck allows for dubbing either at normal or high speed.

I got this to replace a unit that I had that would "relay" record, but had finally croaked. I wasn't sure that this unit would do that just by reading the manual online, but it in fact will record both sides of the tape on deck one and then automatically switch to deck two. It will do this in "timer" mode also.
All the other basic features are good, as was expected.
Of course, good packing and shipping from Band H. I have purchased from them for many years.

Yes, you can still buy a nice dual deck autoreverse tapedeck. This one has all the nice dubbing and relay play features of my former deck, which died years ago. The price point was good and the unit arrived quickly and undamaged. Hooray for TEAC!
