The BosStrap Camera Sling System is a cross body system for supporting your camera in both shooting and resting positions. The 1.5" (3.8 cm) nylon strap distributes the weight on your shoulder without the need of a larger shoulder pad. The BosTail, an integral part of the system, attaches to the camera while a TriggerLoc on the BosTail is attached via a metal ring.
When the system is in use, the camera slides up the strap to your eye. When not needed, your camera rests comfortably on your hip. Notice that, unlike other sling systems, the tripod socket is not used to employ the system. This makes it much easier to attach your camera to a tripod when one is actually needed. Open the TriggerLoc to release the BosStrap when you need to use a tripod. The BosStrap attaches to the left camera lug which frees up the tripod socket for use down the road.
One advantage of the BosStrap is that when you put your camera away, there is nothing to remove. Since the strap is thin, simply wrap it around the lens and stow your gear. There is also no wide shoulder pad that constantly requires adjustment.

Exactly what the sling camera strap should be. No pocket, no velcro, no magnet, no useless foam pad (always out of my shoulder if i do not re-position it), non blah-blah add-ons. Only a large web to support the camera weight all day long. No foam pad, so no need to spend time to re-position it on your shouder. The large web slides smoothly on your shoulder. No twisted strap like other similar products. And cost much less than other slings, too. Simply very well designed. And above all, cost much less than other similars slings. Plus a 30 days satisfaction dollar-back guarantee.
Simple sometimes is better.

I was unsure about the security of the trigger snap though, that the lever might get caught on clothing etc and open up. Wanted a locking carabiner instead, so decided to make my own sling for $25. Wish I didn't have to!

I'm looking forward to using this on my camera on my upcoming trip. I got frustrated with my regular strap when I was in Canada. I either looked like a tourist or was ripping my head off when a nice shot came up. I've been using this around town and it's nice. I do worry some about the connector between the strap and camera not being strong enough but if I hold onto it too, which I would anyway I don't think there will be a problem.

Have stuggled with the stock neckstrap for my Canon T2i for the past year - decided there must be something better - thankfully there is and it is the BosStrap - comfort and convenience are designed in - the material and the fact that the strap is a sling not a neck cramper makes the camera comfortable to wear for long periods, easy to grab and shoot - the strap stays out of the way, and when it is time to pack up the strap almost disappears - wish I had bought it on day one!

Comments about BosStrap Camera Sling System:
I use this strap everyday with my favorite DSLR. Unlike ordinary straps that pull on your neck, this one sits on your shoulder with the camera on the opposite hip. Having a bad back, this really reduces the fatigue I get having that weight around my neck all the time. I would recommend this to anyone, especially those who have to lug a camera around for long periods of time. The strap is easy to adjust and use.

Comments about BosStrap Camera Sling System:
I looked at several different sling systems and finally decided on the Bosstrap, as I really like the lug mounting rather than using the tripod screw. The seat belt strap material is very comfortable, even supporting my 5D and a 70-200 2.8. I wear it on my right side with the lens pointing backwards and it's very fast and convenient to grab the camera when you want to take a shot. Like all these sling systems, you don't look like a complete tourist or an easy target for thieves with a camera sitting on your chest. If you haven't made the switch, I highly recommend it and the Bosstrap is a great implementation of the concept that is also a really good value when compared with some of the other overpriced offerings.

Got this for my husband because he was putting his neck strap for his Canon around his shoulder and then strangling himself trying to take a picture, This strap is wonderful! Secure and then he can move the camera up on the strap to take the picture. He thinks it makes him look like he might know what he is doing too much- ha.. but he loves it.

Great over the shoulder strap with no bells or whistles. Soft and comfortable, and easy to coil in the camera's bag.

Comments about BosStrap Camera Sling System:
I think this will be very useful when you need to carry your camera for a long time period such as travellin, hiking, etc. when adjusted properly weight is spread evenly alon the shoulder and the connection to just one of the camera's attachment points makes vertical framing easier because there is no strap hanging down across the LCD. The snap clip can easily be unlipped to put the camera on a tripod, etc. I am a bit parionoid about this so I used a zip-tie to lock the clip shut - there really is no need to remove the strap to use a tripod anyway. One thing I don't like is that if you lift the camera from your hip sometimes the metal snap bangs on the camera's LCD. That could be fixed with a nylon clip or careful handling. At this point 4 out of five stars.

Wanted a camera strap other than the conventional, wanted to have a "hands-free" system but also allow a quick "up and ready" position without much trouble. This strap does it all! Easy, comfortable and extremely durable allows you to go from "rest" to "shooting" in seconds. Has a safety lock so the camera can't come off the clip but allows you to remove the camera quickly or swtich cameras. Nice product.

Comments about BosStrap Camera Sling System:
This replaces an off-brand round-the-neck camera strap that after a few hours, was painful, and also made me look like a doofus. The product is very intuitive and I wish I thought of it. Keeps the camera/lens by my left hip, lens facing inward, with shoulder and back taking the weight rather than my neck. I am short, so there's lots of left-over strap to be tied up, but this is not really a problem.

My friend has a Black Rapid strap that I have been eyeing for sometime! I asked him if he liked it and he gave me some mixed feelings about it! He told me about a strap that hooks to the neck strap anchors but couldn't give me a brand! I then started searching and I found THE BosStrap and I couldn't be more happy with the product other than I should have ordered a extra pigtail for my second camera! It is a very simple idea that works great

Comments about BosStrap Camera Sling System:
This is one of those "why didn't I think of it" products. It gets the weight of my Nikon with zoom lens off my neck. I'm still a little bit nervous about the camera dangling alongside my right hip--obviously I have to keep one hand on it, which I didn't have to do when it was on a traditional neck strap. But we're about to go on a three week tour of the Middle East and I know it'll be easier bearing the load with the BosStrap for hours on end.
