The Dell 15" SWITCH by Design Studio Lid (Lotus Pink) is custom made for Dell Inspiron R Series Notebooks. Only the 2011 Inspiron R Notebooks have a replaceable lid latch that is compatible with SWITCH by Design Studio lids. Also, this particular lid is for 15" versions of the Inspiron R Series. The form-fitting lid latches into the top of the notebook perfectly, which gives it the same look and feel of a permanent notebook lid.
