The Oben CC-2320L 3-Section Carbon Fiber Lateral Tripod with BC-1 Ball Head Kit from B&H pairs the very lightweight, versatile carbon fiber CC-2320L lateral tripod with an extremely sturdy ball head that pans 360° and tilts 90° to portrait orientation. The combined system weighs just 4.8 lb and supports camcorders, point & shoot, and DSLR cameras (even as they're outfitted with long lenses) that weigh up to 25.6 lb.

The tripod & head combination reaches a tall maximum height of 72.2" and enables positioning from just about any angle. When the center column is extended past the chassis, it can be tilted smoothly across a 180° arc and firmly locked into position at any point along the way. The tilting column also swivels, so the camera has a virtually full sphere of position points from which it can shoot.

The BC-1 ball head features an Arca Swiss-style quick-release clamp for the included camera plate, and it offers three separate controls to manipulate pan lock, tilt lock, and tension. This "division of labor" allows you to perform tasks such as panoramic photography, which requires fine adjustments to the head's pan while the tilt remains locked. The included carry bag has plenty of room to hold the folded tripod with the head attached.
