Comments about Sony 8GB E Series Walkman Video MP3 Player (Black):
I am far behind in life, technologically speaking. I purchased this so that I can sell my CD collection, and have something that is compact. The big, and only problem, is that I was never able to fully link my I-Tunes to this MP3. I called Sony, went to their website, sent them e-mails...it is disheartening when you are trying to learn, but Sony assumes EVERYBODY knows technology, and therefore, they don't really even give a fully instructional operational manual. Even on-line, the information was very vague. Ultimately, after MANY, MANY hours, I figured it out. And once I did, the rest was great. Holds plenty of music, very long battery life, and no other issues. If you are new to MP3 players, patience will be a virtue with this product, but you'll be happy with the end result.

Comments about Sony 8GB E Series Walkman Video MP3 Player (Black):
Because I've owned 2 previous Sony players, I purchased this one based on the reviews. Initially had problems with play mode setting which seem to be working ok now. Then I noticed that I cannot pause FM radio (I could on previous Sony MP3 Players), maybe this one is different. But, the biggest annoyance was when it ran out of power after 4 hours of use. I will most likely contact Sony customer service, but I will try another brand next time.
