The Western Digital 320GB 2.5” WD Scorpio BlueSATA Hard Drive offers additional space to store your files at a single location and allows you to save storage space on your internal hard drive. Designed for notebook computers, the SATA Hard Drive is portable and comes with a SATA 3 Gbps interface, 8 MB data buffer, and 5400 RPM rotational speed.
AF (Advanced Format) offers increased areal densities, allowing the 2.5” drive to store photos, music, and videos. ShockGuard technology protects the drive mechanics and platter surfaces from shocks during daily operations. Additionally, the SecurePark feature keeps the recording heads off the disk surface during spin up, spin down, and when the drive is off, ensuring that the recording head does not come in contact with the disk surface. This feature offers long-term reliability of the hard drive due to less head wear and improved non-operational shock tolerance.
With advanced power management features, the WD Scorpio Blue SATA Hard Drives utilizes low power consumption and ensures a longer battery life. WhisperDrive technology considerably reduces noise level to offer optimum performance.
