The advantages of LEXAR memory card is it has a software feature called image rescue 4 that let me easily recover my lost, accidentally format or deleted photo files. Besides, while i was shooting with my 5dmk2, the buffering speed is superb, allowing me to do continuous bursting without lagging/error. It has also provide me faster transferring speed while loading large RAW files to my computer. And it has a good built quality too.
The cost for this memory card is a little pricey compared to other brand. Hope it can just slightly lower down to a more reasonable price that everyone can have to same benefits that i had.

I've been using 2 Lexar 32 GB cards for the last 6 months. One of the cards went fully corrupted and I had to send it back to Lexar. In the mean time, I bought the 16 GB to tie me over. Within 20 minutes of shooting a rehearsal at the Manhattan School of music, the first 5 photos on the card were corrupted. I took my Nikon D700 to the Pro Tech to have it looked at. The camera was bought in October and is in mint condition. End result the tech said, "you can have multiple faulty cards caused by dust or some factor thereof. It's not uncommon." Up until recently, these cards had been pretty great. Now I sweat out each gig wondering if my card will hold up, or if I'll lose the batch during a shoot.

Comments about Lexar 16GB Professional 400x Compact Flash Card:
I switched to Lexar's high speed Flash Card because my video recording on the Nikon D300s requires a high speed card to record the big files that HD video requires. There have been in camera interruption notices when I used standard SD cards which my camera also accepts.

I am a professional wedding photographer and I bought this to drop in to the second card slot of my D3s to write jpgs to. I write raw to slot 1 and jpg to slot 2 and this card is way big enough to hold an entire wedding on. I spread out the raw files on several smaller cards. It writes and reads fast, its perfect

This is my third 16GB Professional 400x Compact Flash Card by Lexar. This not a replacement but it's an addition. It performs as advertised and has yet to fail or have any other problem - very reliable and meets all of my requirements for a CD. This is, now, the only brand of CD I use in my work.

Comments about Lexar 16GB Professional 400x Compact Flash Card:
For a pro, read/write speeds are critical in capture and review of images, especially during press conferences or tours. Lexar has a well-deserved reputation for reliable storage/flash media & the CF cards I bought bear out that claim. Plug and play with little-to-no preparation, the cards have performed perfectly.

I purchased the 16GB memory card for a large shoot I had booked. I could tell the difference in the 400x versus the 300x & would recommend the Lexar CF Cards to any other professionals out there!
