I am using this card in my Canon 7D and have found it to be very reliable. It keeps up with both raw and jpeg files at maximum size as well as HD video both reading and writing.
I am not sure about the claim of 400X speed but it must be close as despite some fairly significant demands placed on it, no problems so far.
I would still carry a backup card with me when in the field despite the 32gb size. If the shoot is important enough (i.e. a wedding or travel destination) it is still not worth the risk of a failure however unlikely - or running out of space which is not likely to happen with a card this size.
The professional designation refers in large part to ruggedness and reliability and I believe the Lexar 32gb delivers on this. No problem recommending this card to a serious photographer and especially someone traveling that requires a large capacity memory card for their DSLR.

I had ordered this card March 14th in anticipation of the 03/22 delivery date of my D800. Unfortunately like everyone else, the D800 shipment was delayed. I finally got my D800 today, 05/02 and excited to use both Lexar 400x SD and CF card. The SD card 400x works flawlessly. The CF UDMA 400x, does not seem to work on the D800. I have contacted B&H for a replacement thinking it might be a bad card.
We'll see what happens.

Comments about Lexar 32GB Professional 400x Compact Flash Card:
Having 32 GB of space on one card is so much more convenient than carrying around several smaller cards. Even with a 16 GB card, I can't get through one soccer game without having to stop and re-load cards. This is a very convenient size.

I needed lots memory for my D800 and needed one with high speed writeability. This card works really well with the D800 which is a 36 megapixel camera. So it should be more than enough speed any camera.

Although I haven't had a chance to fill this card yet, I have every expectation to fill it later this summer when at Arches, Canyonlands and other National Parks in the CO-UT-AZ-NM area. I have had several 100+ outings with this card and it performed exactly as expected. I always shoot RAW and the D700 display for this freshly formatted card shows "1.5K". I exepct actual results to be 10% to 20% more. Lexar media has never failed me and I expect the same to hold true with this card.

I used it for two photo shoots during which I saved both raw and jpeg formats. This card had no trouble keeping up and I was shooting with the 5D Mark II. I would highly recommend this card to anyone shooting still images.

I have been working with 4GB cards and since I shoot a lot, it used to have to stop and change cards so often. I now get over 1500 images on 1 card. The only worry I have is if I loss this card I loss everything. Guess I will just have to be safe.

This is my third time to purchase this card. Not only is it less expensive but it has been more reliable than the SanDisk cards. I use it for filming with my 7D.

Great cards. Have had no problems with them. I own a few Sandisk cards and have problems with those every once and a while but none with LEXAR cards. I have been using them a ton for shoots and have gone traveling for work and they are great.

I have been buying compact flash cards (Lexar) for quite a few years and have never been let down with there quality. I have 2,4,8,16 GB cards and decided to go for a 32 GB this time to add to my system. Now when I go into the field for the day I can carry two 8 GB, two 16 GB in my card safe and the 32 GB in the camera. I use a Nikon D700 for my main camera.
