M-Audio Keystation Mini 32 - Ultra-Portable Keyboard Controller
The Keystation Mini 32 from M-Audio is a compact, 32-key keyboard controller, and an ideal choice for players on the go. Simply plug it into your computer or iPad and perform two-hand parts with the velocity sensitive, low-profile mini keys.
The keyboard features selectable velocity curves, including one specifically for drum programming. Four assignable controls add flexibility to performing and the included Sibelius First software allows for easily playing and writing music.
The keyboard is USB bus powered and includes plug and play functionality under Mac OS X or Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7.

B&H Photo is just about the only shop I use to buy on-line equipment! You just cannot beat there service for getting product to your door in a fast and perfect condition. My latest purchase the Keystation Mini 32 - Ultra-Portable Keyboard Controller by M-Audio is a beautiful mini charm. I bought it for my iPad 1 and use it in conjunction with the "ipad camera connection kit" (sold separately). It is plug & play and works, perfect! The keys are a little small to use at first but after a few plays, you'll get the feel for it. Remember, this is a Big LITTLE keyboard that should really be used as a travel/secondary keyboard that is perfect to fit into your hand travel bag. You'll Love It! It is made very well and it's extremely lite! Thank you B&H Photo for being so professional & I look forward to my purchases, from you, in the future.

This is a nice small MIDI keyboard with 2.5 octaves range and simple controls for modulation and pitch bend. It is good for traveling and will fit in a backpack easily. The keys are not full size, so it does feel like playing a child's toy, but once you get used to it, its not too bad for simple playing or drum editing. It also works directly with the iPad and is much nicer than using the iPad screen.
Its no substitute for a full size keyboard, but this is a good compromise between size and playability.
