The Acer P1303W Professional Projector packs a great deal of desirable features into a small package that would work in any environment it is thrown into. The defining feature of the P1303W is its DLP 3D ready capability. DLP technology delivers crystal clear, razor-sharp and lifelike images for the ultimate in picture quality. DLP technology is capable of extremely high contrast ratios providing a stunning viewing experience - crisper whites, ultra-rich blacks and images that "pop" on-screen.
The 10.6 x 8.1 x 3.8" (269 x 206 x 96mm) P1303W weighs in at only 5.6 lb. (2.5kg) and comes with its own carrying case, so chances are that it will be racking up some serious travel miles in your carry-on. And it doesn't matter where you're going either, thanks to its universal power supply and multi-color system capability.
The P1303W features ColorBoost technology which yields improved color performance with an emphasis on natural color by refining a waveform based on the lamp spectrum and color wheel characteristics. The wide connectivity includes HDMI, component, composite and S-video as well as USB for control. Other convenience features include closed captioning for the hearing impaired and EcoProjection technology, which delivers intelligent power management approach and physical efficiency improvement.

I've had the projector for a year and now the individual pixels are dying. Once this occurs thousands of little white spots appear on your image, forever stuck there. This is not a good situation. I do not recommend this projector. It has been very lightly used and therefore very disappointing that the motherboard is already failing.

I bought the Acer P1303W its awsome for the price. You do have to go through a computer to get the 3D to work. I have a AMD FX 6 core proccesor and ATI 6770HD card that supports 3D. I then bought a Blu Ray 3d Internal Burner from LG for 77 bucks which is really nice. I got the Expand x102 Active glasses they are price well and look great. I thought i was screwed when the 3d didnt work when i put a blu ray 3d movie in and played it thru my Projector. My resolution was correct and at 120hz. I found out after messing around for about an hour that the software that came with my Blue Ray 3d player didnt work with my projector which is POWER DVD 9. I found a program called TotalMedia Theatre 5! As soon as i installed it and played the blu ray 3d movie and turned the glasses on everything worked!!! I had to adjust a few settings but nothing major. Dont forget not all projectors have to go thru a computer to work but you will prob pay more for them.
What's great about it: The piture quality is awesome looks great in 1080P
