The Targus USB Docking Station for Fujitsu Portable Computers from Fujitsu is an excellent way to extend the capabilities of your Toshiba laptop or netbook. Originally manufactured by Targus, this docking station features four down-stream USB 2.0 ports, two of which allow you to charge connected devices. In addition, a built-in DVI-I connector allows you to connect a separate monitor and the Fast Ethernet port allows you to establish a wired Internet connection to a router. Two built-in 3.5mm audio jacks allow you to connect a microphone and speakers and two lock slots provide added security. This docking station is compatible with a variety of Toshiba computers.

This docking station features a 24-pin DVI-I slot that allows you to connect an external display with a resolution of 2048 x 1152. If you do connect an external display, there is one of three ways that you can use that display:

1. As the primary display instead of your laptop or netbook's screen
2. To extend the desktop from your laptop or netbook's screen
3. To mirror your laptop or netbook's screen
Of the four built-in USB 2.0 ports, two allow you to power or charge peripherals such as a BlackBerry, an iPhone/iPod, or a camera.
The hub features a built-in Fast Ethernet Port that allows you to establish a wired Internet connection
In terms of audio, there are two 3.5mm jacks, one allows you to connect a microphone while the other allows you to connect speakers
For security, the hub includes one Kensington Lock slot and one Targus cable lock slot
Enables you to quickly connect to an external monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer, speakers or other peripherals often used at home or in the office
Provides an ergonomic tilt for a comfortable typing angle and also keeps the laptop elevated, providing ventilation while in use
