The S1300 ScanSnap S1300 Trade-Compliant Color Image Scanner from Fujitsu scans full size 8.5 x 11.0" documents at up to 8 pages per minute. The scanner's automatic duplex scanning maximizes productivity by scanning both sides of the page in one easy step. Additionally, the 10-page automatic document feeder automates the scanning process even more so you can focus on your work, not on the scanner.
The S1300's built in automatic features guarantee the best results the first time around. These include auto de-skew, auto-orientation, and auto color detection (color/grayscale/monochrome). Smaller documents have smaller print. The scanner's auto quality function adjusts the resolution to "best" on smaller documents (such as a check or index card) so the small print will be easily legible. Additionally, you can even take a highlighter and highlight the document's keywords before scanning and the S1300 will automatically extract those keywords for you.
The scanner's compact size and power options make it ideal for a traveler or anyone who needs to scan on the go. Not only does the scanner come with a standard AC adapter for a wall outlet, but it can also be powered from your laptop's USB port. Not near an outlet? Simply plug the 2nd USB cable into your computer and scan wherever you are. Now when someone gives you an important paper, don't risk losing it, scan it, save it, and print it out later when you need it. Once you scan it, use the included OCR software to make the document text-searchable so when the document is needed, you'll know exactly where it is.
